these photos where taken last Oct. with my new 70-200 2.8 VR that I received the night before the event. It took a while to get the panning shots i was looking for but with some pratice i started to to get a feel for the larger lens. these were the best shots and look foward to a nother outing with it. Comments welcomed.

I'm pretty sure he's wearing the hoodie over his leathers. The day was probably pretty cold.

    Great shots!

Thank You. Yes it was a cool 60 that morning. But at over a hundred MPH it has to get a little chilly.

Beautiful shots, I would just suggest using a differetn watermark, those are super distracting.

Nice shots thumb.gif The tarmac looks really blue in some of the shots. Is that the actual color? (i've never been to a track, can you tell?)

Yes it is. The track used a coating in some of the turns and with a lot of rubber put on top of it you can start to see the riders reflection on it. Thank you.

Nice shots, It would be nice if you could slow down you shutter speed just a tad to get some wheel blur going.
