Hi Y'all,

I just finished processing my shots from last month and I had a few I was happy with. All the images were taken at the Viera Wetlands. I was even contacted by a stock photo site which asked me to let them represent my pictures. Since the only other bird photographer they have is Arthur Morris I'm going to give them a try.

How many photographers does it take to change a light bulb? 50. One to change the bulb, and forty-nine to say, "I could have done that better!"

    Yay
That's really neat when a stock company contacts you and wants your photos! Good luck with that, hope it works out. Your photos are certainly stock worthy! (Remember, I used to have to purchase stock photos for our clients so I have a fair idea of what's out there.)

Very nice series of images, Harry. Lovely colored backgrounds, especially in #1, #4, and #6.

I am finally beginning to get my images from last week processed so I may post a couple before long. Nightingale has some very nice shots also.

Novermber was good..... birds everywhere..80* sunny weather.....and a business opportunity. Congrats and nice job Harry. thumb.gif Be very careful with those stock photo reps. Read the fine print so you don't lose your shirt or worse....your image rights.

I checked out theri web site and it looks OK. The cheapest download is a 1 MB 5x7 at 72 DPI for $75 and the shooter gets 50% of the sale. Since I have a few thousand shots hanging out on my hard drive which I'm not doing anything with I figured what the heck.

$75 for a web size image? That sounds about what I had to pay. What got me was that for rights managed images you only had one year of use, and they contacted us after a year and wanted more $$$! To buy images outright was in the 10,000 of $ or more...

Your images are so good you should do very well.

Absolutley awesome shots - no wonder an agency wants to take on work of that quality. All the best with that listing!
