My brother married a Jewish woman. Once, about 15 yrs ago, they hosted Christmas for several of my family members who were visiting in the Seattle area. That was the 1st (and only) time Gail had ever had a Christmas tree in her house.

I'm not sure if it was the Jewishness or a rough visit from a demanding father-in-law, but she now hates the smell of Christmas trees and vows never to have one in her house again. Thus, while many mixed families probably do it, I know a lot of folk might be taken aback by the sight of a Hanukka ornament on a Christmas treene_nau.gif

(not a negative comment, per se, just another take on the issue)

Hey I am a Jewlic!! I am not offended at all.

My mom was raised Catholic and my Dad was raised Jewish- the Jewlic is something my brothers and I came up with.

    We celebrate both.
