Raising the Flag

Went on a hike uo the peak overlooking Castle Hot Springs in Arizona. Castle Hot Springs use to be the place in the early and mid 1900s for the rich and famous in America to vacation in the sun and soak in the hot springs. During WWII, the goverment leased the property and it was used by recouperating soilders. A one JFK was here for a time. Story even has it, that servicemen hike up this peak in the morning and evening to raise and lower the flag daily.
Well, there's not much left of the orginal buildings, but the current caretaker has a son serving in Afghanistan, and he sent her this American flag to be rasied over the site. A local Boy Scout troup goes up every 3-4 months to replace the flag. I went along to photograph them, as the caretaker really wanted some photos that captured the moment, and she can no longer hike the peak herself.
You'll notice from the photo that the peak is truly a 'peak' just a few boulders, with about 400 feet or so drop off of the 3 sides! Even the 'trail' side is one heck of a drop off..
So, how does this work for capturing 'the moment'? I have 1 or 2 others of rasing the flag I'm working on.
