I'm interesting in finding some really good collage software. I know someone must know where I can purchase. I have photoshop 7.0 and I guess I could try and create it myself...but that would take too long....
Here are a few quick links I found. I don't know much about these products, so pardon me if they rate too high in the "cheesy" category . I suppose it really just depends on what template you use for a collage. Some of the templates available certainly rate 5 out of 5 on the Cheesy scale...
I edited this post since I found some more stuff. Corel Paintshop Pro looks promising.
You've probably already seen this since you're using Photoshop - and I assume you're just wanting something "easier", but here's an Adobe link about making collages with PS: http://www.adobe.com/support/techdocs/332336.html
I have to 2nd cornerketch on the Lumapix Fotofusion. It is fantastic software and so versatile. V4 is coming out soon and if you buy now you get free upgrade. They also have a users forum that is very helpful. I went with the Pro version and have used it to make 100 page photo collage books. Very easy and very quick to put pages together and customize them to your liking.
Mind you that these are very basic collages, but there is so much more you can do with this program.

I love it! It's super easy to use, and it it just works It allows me to be very fancy, and not so fancy at all. Most of my collages are very simple...
