Nice effect. Sure gives some depth to the cloud formation.

While these are very nice shots I can't help but wonder what was the reason for calling HDR to the rescue?
The scene seem to be lit nicely and evenly, so what HDR did that plain vanilla correct exposure and some curves couldn't fix?

If nothing else, it would be very interesting to have a look at the originals (I mean the colors, not the size:)

    TIA!

The use of HDR was in this case not use to fixany particular problem as the original images were perfectly OK. The same effect can be achieved using photoshop straight but I wanted to experiment with Photomatix. I realy like the almost 3D effect you can achieve. Thanks for looking. Ian 9496500-Ti.gif
