first ever OIF!
went hunting the northern harrier the other day and got a few shots worth keeping - here is one of the better ones...
but i saw about three or four birders (with binoculars, not cameras) that were bemoaning the fact that they hadn't seen any owls this year at this location, which normally hosts several. Not having a clue as to where the owls would normally be, I just kept trying to sneak up on the local harrier, when I flushed him out of a field...
but wait a minute, that didn't look like a northern harrier...:scratch
in fact, I know its not a harrier!:barb:ivar:barband I'm pretty sure it's a short-eared owl...my first ever owl in flight!:clap only got a couple of shots, but this one made my day....
Hope you enjoy...
regards...Keith

How many photographers does it take to change a light bulb? 50. One to change the bulb, and forty-nine to say, "I could have done that better!"
