Your set is just too good not to be on top. I put a photo of my sons on, now I am responding to you, will put your photo back to be seen.

These are great photos, would be if you didn't know the people. For some reason the clarity strikes me. Maybe it is because I have been looking at OOF things from the early seventies.

50 yrs, that is something! Wonderful!

    Thanks folks.
    Thanks folks.
I agree that the second pic came out the best. That is the pic that
I spent the most time on cropping and working out the kinks.

I think I have a few more good ones from the gathering but I haven't
processed them yet. I should be able to put them up later tonight.

    Thanks again for looking.

    dave.

P.S. It's not the original cake, just the original figures from the top.

A few more pics from the party.

    Opening Cards

Just a note for this one. The piano that they are sitting in front of, came
from Betty's folks house near Chicago. We brought the piano up to
Minnesota after her folks pasted. The design on the piano was done
    by her father.

I know many of these are just snapshots, and not great works of art. But in
a small house with 30 some people in it, I think they came out OK.

    Thanks for looking.

    davev,

To me, these are far more than snapshots--well, they are snapshots in time
perhaps--what makes them special is the back story. A story that's 50 plus
years in the making. And that is truly a special story!

And one day, these photos, the look back through time, will be as special as
    they are to us today.

Congratulations to Bob and to Betty and may they enjoy another 50 years
    together!

    Thanks again for sharing,

I agree with Ian. These are great photos. I'm sure they will treasure them for years to come.

Dave, good for you! I'm certain the family will not only appreciate these but will cherish them as well. It's a great thing to have a photographer in the family...even as obsessed as they think we are...Laughing.gif. Nicely done.
