Hello, I've got a few Ideas for entries...

#1

#2

#3

I'm thinking of doing a reshoot of number 1 and 2 to get a little bit different angle with a wider lens...

Any thoughts?

P.S. Bonus points if you can identify the machine in the first two pics... :)

Thanks!

Is it for dredging? I personally like the second shot best. It could use a little more pop, but I think the angle works. The third shot comes in a close second for me. Good luck!!

Those round thingers in picture 2 are a cam. They are used to lift and then drop heavy weights one long poles in picture 1. I believe this is a crushing machine. Maybe in ore processing.

I like picture 2 the best.

I like 'em both. I'd try #3 in B/W. Oh yeah... it's a stamp mill. I need more points!

Right on! A stamp mill it is! Though mercphoto got what it does correct, it was used to crush the gold-bearing ore, then they would seperate the gold by amalgamation.

    Thanks for the comments,

Here's a version of #2 with a little more pop...

1 and 2 are both nice, though I kinda like the first one , maybe with a bit more contrast

I tried to add some pop to #3, But I ran into the problem that setting the black point helped the rig itself look nice but made the cable go all dark.

    Oh well...
    Thanks again!
