Challenge 80: "Chain Driven" - 3 different takes.

Opening these for comments and crits. Shot these in my garage this morning, so reshoots are really easy.

    Chain drive
    I'd like to see more DOF, ie. more of the chain to the left, & down to where the axle/shaft goes thru the 'sprocket'.

    #1 is the shot. DOF is fine. I could see increasing it slightly, but I do like how the chain recedes into the blur.

    If I had a choice, I'd like to see the chain and sprocket not disappear into the right hand corner; I'd crop it slightly differently.

    It's a nice shot, very effective.

    I think #1 is the best shot. I like the composition of the photo and the nice tight focus on the chain/gear. great work!

    Are you suggestiong the composition should be loosened or tightened?

    Love #1, but I'm distracted by that thing holding it together. I'd either crop it out or reshoot it in there!
