Printing Poster size images - quality?

I have started making (and hopefully selling) sport style poster size images.
Sizes I plan on offering:
12x18
16x24
20x30

http://www.mlkimages.smugmug.com/gallery/2246136

I started with a size 4800px x 7200px. After the posters were developed I ended up with average jpeg file sizes ~20,000k. Files needed to be compress slightly to under 16,000k to be able to upload to SM

My concern is I am not certain that these images will look any good after being printed (since I have never done these before). Is there anyway someone at Smug Mug can take a look at my images and determine what the final print quality will look like? I am not 100% sure if I am developing the images correctly inorder to end upwith the best file for print quality.

Can I compress my files more and not effect the final print quality??

And one last question - does or will Smug Mug offer poster prints printed on poster style paper and not photo paper (for less $$)??

Thanks,
Michael

Sure I'll be happy to look. Lay some links on me here.

You don't need to Upres - if the files need uprezzing, our lab can do it just fine :D

Compression? JPG 10 is Lab Quality, so don't worry too much about compressing to under 16mb.

    3 files
Here are the links to 3 posters:

I assume you can take a look at the original files from these links.

***(also curious why all 3 files are 4800x7200 and around 12-15k, but the 1st 2 posters listed have a large file "shown" size of 400x600 and the last file has a large "show" image size of 800x533?? I would really like to have these posters showing in Large at the large "show" image size of 800x533.

    Thanks,
    Michael

Portrait oriented images are 600px max high right now.

SmugMug Grande to the rescue (at some point soon, we hope)!
