Sunrise on the Ice

I pass this scene everyday at the same time so I have plenty of opportunites to reshoot if needed. The image was shot with my Sony F707 on plain auto though I locked the settings by pointing closer to the sun first then reframed. I wanted the darks a bit darker and that did it for me. Plus I did a little Lab work in PS (thanks to chaps. 1 - 4 in Dan Margulis' Lab book).

Not to limit the crits to my questions but I'm wondering about the lens reflections. Is it common to PS them out or leave them in?

Since I can reshoot, any ideas on taking a better one before the snow covers the ice?

So, for a first post, what say ye?

    Welcome Tiziano!
If you get half as much benefit as I have from DGrin, it’ll be worth your while to be part of this community.
Great shot! Nice location to do a series of seasonal photos. As for lens reflections it’s really your choice. Myself, I avoid them like the plague in still photos (especially landscapes). Can work as a moving effect in a video though. Welcome again.
