    Thanks, Richard. We just recently moved out here, and we're really enjoying the southwestern scenery. Of course one pays a price for living out in the desert. There ain't much out here! eek7.gif

    Thanks, Mushy! This was composed of three shots with my 20D and 100-400L, set at 100mm.

    This lens is excellent for high-res panos, in case you haven't figured this out already. deal.gif

    would never have thought to use it for pano's, but will definitely be trying now after seeing your results

    Hey, no problem at all, Billy! I appreciate your interest in the shot. I really like what you've done to it. It's almost surreal. It's funny, I showed the shot to a photographer friend of mine, who then gave me a CS2 action called velvia, which does something similar to your treatment. It really blows the shot out of the water. I couldn't decide how high to crank up the effect, and ended up just posting the original, untouched version. You really went to the extreme, and have showed me the potential. And I thank you for that. thumb.gif
