Few years back I got some kewl Train shots at Steamtown in Scranton PA.
These were taken with my old Sony FD97 2.1mp and my 828.
Had em stored on CD....now that Winter has set in I'm going threw and tweaking em up....then adding em to my Smugmug.
(I know CS2 better now so I can clean em up and such)

Just thought I would share them.

WOAH what a snow blower!!

Ever wonder what a actual Steam Engine looks like?
Note the area where they shovel the coal in.

Gosh that first shot, looks like the train has part of an airplane stuck on the front of it doesn't it :D

I've never seen a train snow blower before, for some reason I thought they would just have a big shovel thing on the front headscratch.gif

Great shots Graphy clap.gif ..... looks like a very interesting place to visit .

Thanx! Thought it was interesting to get a shot of.
    Not something you see often.

Yes the Red one I posted is the plow version.
I have a shot of a more modern one but it's obstructed by a bunch clutter.
    Not worth posting. rolleyes1.gif

Great shots - I've been to Steamtown a number of times (I have relatives down near Wilkes-Barre). That snowblower car in the first picture is an old Long Island Rail Road unit - definitely overkill for the weather here on the island!

Here are some I took this past summer: http://moose135.smugmug.com/gallery/1733255/
