When I 1st got back into Photography with Digital I went to local Car Shows.
This is actually the subjects I started with in Photography.

There are only so many Cars to Photograph locally so I switched off to Nature subjects.
I was well known in my old hobby (Model Building 1:25 scale Cars) for my Reference photo's.
These were also done with my Sony Mavica FD97 2.1mp back in 2002.
Cleaning up some of these from CD this Winter and adding em to my Smugmug.

Thought I'd share.

It took some great pics for me tho as you can see.
It was top of the line at the time!
    I laugh now....camera's with 3.5 floppy drives. rolleyes1.gif
I don't miss those days now...DSLR is the way to go.

Thanx for the kind comment Skipster!
I sure took a LOT of car pics in the day.
Have about 2000 or so on CD here from all the way back to 2001 when I had a 1.3MP Panasonic BOX Digital Camera.
Hard to do anything with those pics they are so small.
Took about as many if not more with my 35mm.

Enjoy DSLR and Nature pics a lot more now!

Back in the day we had a Mavica for use in the office. I actually prefered it to some of the other digitals at the time, no looking for the right cable or hoping the file transfer software worked, just shoot the pictures and pop the disk into the PC, and away you go!

    Nice shots, BTW!

I completely agree. The Mavica was where it was at if you were snaphappy back in the day. Very easy to use even though it was as big as a normal DSLR today though. Not as cool looking though. mwink.gif
