I purchased this used Canon 24-70mm f2.8L as part of a 20D package (the 20D body was recently sold in FM) from a photo studio here in the LA area that closed down. This lens has a "UT" date code. Both the front and rear glass are clean, I'd say a score of 9 out of 10. The cosmetic of the barrel is excellent as well (no dings or paint chips), except the former owner felt the need to engrave the serial number of lens on the barrel, and the words "Property of A&F AFL - 004". The lens only comes with a genuine Canon front lens cap and third party rear lens cap (I bought it this way). The lens is very SHARP.
