Possible theme bug using: B&W, Cappuccino, Carbonite, Denim, Old Family Album, Daddy’s Girl, Bon Voyage.
Viewing smugmug style using either FireFox or IE6 on WinXP Pro.
With image protection on, the main image looks like it is repeating itself on the bottom and right side.
No problem with image protection off. I can’t replicate on my regular SmugMug site.
Screen grabs were taken from here: http://richw.beta.smugmug.net/gallery/32/2/5242?f=63#5242

Good eyes Rich, and yes you are correct that it is a theme issue. We'll make a note of it.

Andy posted this:
Yeah, it's any theme that has some padding in the imgBorder - I'll ask JT or Lee about it, hopefully it can be dealt with in the base CSS not in each theme
That got me thinking. I had seen a problem when you placed your cursor just on the border of a thumbnail in the smugmug style gallery, it caused the image to appear as if it was oscillating. Placing this: .imgBorder {padding: 0px !important;} in the css solved both problems.
Thanks Lee...
Not sure whether it's a bug or intended behavior, but the Carbonite theme behaves a little differently under the beta rules. In the smugmug gallery style, the thumbnails have a gray border that's padded 1px off the photo. On the live site, the border turns white when it's moused over. On the beta site, the border turns white and the padding collapses, making the photo appear to "jump" to the upper left.
Also, should the green text in the #pageNavigation_top div be blue?

Hi, my first post here, just to report a possible small bug I noticed in the Beta...tried it with IE6 and FF.
Did anybody already notice that when you click on a photo in a gallery and it opens in Large format you can navigate with left/right arrow-keys? Sure you already found out. But when you arrive at the last picture and press the right arrow/cursor-key again it gets stuck and above the photo you see loading... (with the moving ...) continuously. Pressing left or right doesn't do anything anymore, only way to stop it is clicking the photo again.
Same happens when you're at the first photo and press the left arrow-key again.
Maybe idea is to just cycle through the photo's over again when arriving at the last one of a gallery.

When the beta hotness is released to the live smugmug site, which will happen?
The smugmug style will be globally updated - everyone across the board at once
Power and pro users will have a switch to enable the hotness for their site (which would be off by default, thus protecting customization)
Same as option two except there's a limited time window for power and pro users to check up on their CSS before they lose the option of having things the "old way"

None of the above
Just curious. Thanks!
AFAIK the new hotness will replace smugmug style across the board immediately when this is pushed to the live site.
We plan on a notice to all customers via control panel in advance.
There won't be any "switch" or anything like that.
I read previously that Statcounter will not show individual photos browsed to
any more, that is a very tremendous drawback. It is very advantagous to
know what photos in a gallery are focused on.
