Brrrrr-eautiful!
The fantastic colors and that cold air must have taken your breath away! Thanks for sharing this! Ann, it's a real treat to *see* you again, too! ~Nee
Thank you , all! I am quite pleased with them. I neglected to mention that I did a bit of post work on them, and upped the saturation some to bring out the colors a tad
Ann, both are nice shots, but I LOVE that bottom one, where the lights are not turned on yet, but it is darkish...... g
Hi Ginger
Ya know, I hadn't given any thought to the fact the lights weren't on! This is in a brand new subdivision, and probably only one or two homes are occupied - mostly huge, overpriced still vacant lots! I wonder if the lights ever get turned on
I like em both But, as others have mentioned, they make me feel colddddddddd....lol I had to warm up my hands after viewing them, just so I could type this response :lol
Very nice shots and I hope it gets a little warmer in the coming weeks. You know like -10 or so.....lol
I really like the lamp posts also, grew up next to Lake Michigan it reminds me of a those winters.
Hi bikehiker - we have a saying here "It's a dry cold". Cold weather 'down east' (Toronto or Montreal for example) is sooooo much more miserable due to the humidity - at least that's my feeling!

Both of these are so nice! It's difficult to get that after sunset afterglow, but you captured it really well and I love the lamp posts!

If at first you don't succeed, destroy all the evidence that you tried~
Thanks again.
