Slideshow with med. sized photos

Hello everyone and Happy Holidays.

Question: (doing my best Dwight from The Office impression)

If I have the options of not showing large files and not showing originals turned off in a gallery, when a user clicks the slide show button, the full screen look makes the images upsize and look rather bad.

I did find via search that we can stop the slide show from being full screen:

But I was wondering if there is a setting that I might be missing. I don't mind the full screen of the slide show, but can I keep the images (the medium sized ones that are being used when large and orginal are ticked to off) from being upsized in the slide show?

Not possible, sorry.
Disable (hide the button) for the FS slideshow, and use the gallery style slideshow.
