    Nice job on the first one not blowing out all the reflective crap on the police officer with the flash.

    I went up to the cop and talked with him first, asked him if the horse would mind the flash. He was a good guy, said no, the horses were chosen for the day because they're real tolerant and don't mind flash at all. But I had the flash on manual and still turned it down. I'm practicing these days with just a little pop of flash, to see what it does, to see if it's enough to provide the option of going either way in postprocessing. Thanks.

    Wow! That picture of the police on the horses is really great. The fact that it’s a little noisy doesn’t take away from the cold night time city feeling of the pic. Really puts me right there. Very nice work.
    It might be interesting to do a B&W conversion on that one just for fun.

    My favorites are those of the music hall.
