Out with my boy

So I woke early and took my son for a walk in the woods. Was able to get a few shots. The fog was pretty thick most of the time and it kept raining on and off. Then later on tonight coming back from the grocery store I caught a nice sunset. These are my favorites of the day. Not quite the expert on B&W conversion yet so bare with me. Happy Holidays.

A shame you didn't get any replies...

I love the simplicity in nr2. Almost an abstract.

Nr4 is my favorite. Beautifull. Although I'd try to clone out that diagonal tree that's a bit distracting. I love the sense of depth from the fog in the distance.

    Cheers, Jeroen

Thanks for responding. nr2 is my many attempt at capturing tall tree silhouettes. I have a hard time pulling it off. I think the fog helped me out a bit here and I converted it to sepia. More for the reason that I simply love sepia shots. As far as nr4. I thought about getting rid of the tree. I actually took a shot cropped more with very little of the tree showing but it tends to add a bit of danger and distance to the picture. IMO anyways. Plus I'm not a huge fan of manipulating nature shots. Trees fall, such is life. Thanks so much again for your words.
