We are overrun by anoles here in Florida. In the summer, especially, you have to walk with your head down to make sure you don' step on them. And occasionally you find yourself watching tv and one pops up behind the furniture onto the wall.

Here in North Carolina, anoles are more of an asset than a problem. I haven't seen many around my house. I actually like them, preferably sauteed with some onions. [Only kidding.]
