Just a sight i noticed as i was walking along the beach at xmas time.

Ol' mate actually started getting nervous as to what i was up to as i had to follow the boats tack to keep the sail above him....

    technically not a triptych, however...
i really dig this photograph. congrats on a great eye you have, 'gus. clone out that boat in the distance upper right, and you have an even stronger composition .. i really like the reflection, the man, and the sailboat.

From an earlier post by DJ-S1. Don't worry, I didn't have a clue either.

TRIPTYCH: A painting in three sections, usually an altarpiece, consisting of a central panel and two outer panels, or wings. In many medieval triptychs the two outer wings were hinged so that could be closed over the center panel. Early triptychs were often portable.

Thank you google, I didn't know either...

Triptych, tri means three, it is three pictures, in this case, all in one next to each other.

    Picture.........picture..........picture

white space, or whatever color I guess in between.

I think of them as those pretty partition things in boudiours and churchs. There they are three parts, panels, separated by hinges.

I just don't know how to make them.
After all is said and done, it is the sweet tea.
