Created this today. It was made from 48 images (2 rows of 24) I thought I would set myself a holiday challenge. After doing this one I am planning a large pano of the Hobart waterfront. The original file is 23868x4024 pixels.

Wow that's a beauty clap.gifclap.gif so how did you shoot your shots ?
Did you do the 14 at the top first? or the 14 for the bottom?
How do you stitch ROWS together ?? assuming you did them in rows of 14?

The finished shot is great, I'd be proud too if that was mine to be showing the folks here on Dgrin :D ...... Skippy

    Thankyou Skippy,

When taking the shots, I shot one low and then one high (i.e. the bottom shot then the top). when putting them together I worked in the same manner. Put the upper and lower shot together. I then started from the left side and started putting them together.

After they were all together I did the usual processing then cropped and added the border.

David... that is a fantastic effort to put together a panorama like that... I've tried a couple of smaller ones, that worked "okay" but no where near as well as your effort.

    Well done indeed! clap.gif

Now... you've inspired me to go take some photos and "start stitchin'" :D

Sorry guys, didnt see this question.

These were taken handheld. It started as a trial run to see what the idea would look like. The eventual plan is to go back a bit later than this and do something similar.

thought I would go and give it a test run and ended up with this shot.
