Really very nice. The B&W conversion is lovely. 2 & 3 are the strongest IMO
    C&C always welcomed.

yeh very nice, the first two have very strong eye contact, and his eyes are very expressive. the third shot just backs up whats being expressed in the first two if you get what i mean.

    I like these very much-

am I to assume this is not a friend of yours, considering the title of the thread?-

    hah!-

I would hate for someone to take my photo and title it 'redneck fat---'-

although, maybe it is what it is-

I didn't suppose "sluggard" is an offensive / rude word, describing him .
As a matter of fact he is kind of "lazy" type of county man. . .

I like 'em. Something strikes me about that guy though...seems like a lonely soul. I don't know...just seems to me, viewing those photos I picture him as being a lonely person. The photo of him and the dog kinda drives that thought home to me.

    Antek,
I really like the second photo. It is a classic black and white portrait. Very simple and very effective. Excellent conversion technique.

15524779-Ti.gif I love the second shot best, but the set of three makes a powerful statement. Oops. Changing my mind, maybe. The third shot is growing on me. Good photojournalism. Altogether, very, very nice.

Your pictures convey quite a strong sense of character with the man. I liked the entire series on your site.
