I havent posted anything in forever and am finally on vacation so thought it was WAY past time. My youngest son was out playing/humoring Dad with his camera. Comments welcome.

    I going to agree with George on this one also.
    I really like the kid- good subject. But for the first shot I think it would stand out more if you used more contrast- played with curves or levels- to make the blacks and whites punch more. For me the selective color doesn't work as well in this shot as just doing some more contrasting in B&W.
    The second shot is nice but there is not too much drawing the eye- the child is in a normal front and center position and is not looking into the camera- while the expression is nice I'd like to see this one in color- it might capture my eye more that way.
    Again- really good job... just have some fun and play around with them a bit more
