I really had no idea about Dr. Who...
I guess I'm not big on the fx series

Very interesting and creative, Nikolai! I like the color similarity between the two images.

My eye keeps going back and forth between the lamp and the background. While this may be what you intended, my personal inclination would be to try a Gaussian Blur of the backround to see if I liked it (not sure I would, but curious).

I didn't know CS3 ws out - I'd think of updgrading from my CS1, but I'd rather spend the $$$ on a body or lens.

In fact, the "mix" was intentional:-)

CS3 is still in beta, slated for GR somewhere in May 2007.
