On a trip to Florida, I am lucky enough to see birds that I just dont see up north.

I know hese birds are common enough down here but seeing them is a treat for me.

This is the first timne out with my D2Xs and I am having some trouble nailing the exposure, especially on the white birds.

Here are a few that I think came out all right.

Congrats on the D2Xs, it takes a bit of getting used to but once you two get used to each other the results will be really fine.

Nice set of shots, especially the spoonbill and the ibis. Where in Florida did you take the shots?

How many photographers does it take to change a light bulb? 50. One to change the bulb, and forty-nine to say, "I could have done that better!"

I took these at Ding Darling Nature preserve. Since then we have went to Corkscrew Santuary

I am amazed by the bird population down here
