But that's not part of the "photographer" costume.

Remember you have to also purchase the camera pouches and bags for lenses and accessories and the deluxe waist belt.....

I am moving away from my backpack as it is so cumbersome (great for airlines tho) to always have to sit it down to get into it that I have stated using a Military wide belt and the street and field camera bags(2)...one for each camera and main lenses attached (24-70 2,8 & 70-210 2.8)..so far that is working out great for my trekking off into the woods for nature and wildlife and it keeps the cameras in front and easily accessible.

Thanks for the comment Art. I was thinking of bringing my backpack and then just using the vest and pouches for in the field stuff.....as I to have become annoyed always having to take off the backpack to change lenses. I will have to investigate further.

    I have a Tenba vest.

I used it for this shoot. It was handy, but I would definitely want a pack for an outing like Glacier. I don't trust the vest enough for much more than what I was doing. I wouldn't put it down, as I don't trust it to keep anything clean, so then you have to wear it the whole time, taking it off/putting it on you have to be careful...I guess it depends on how much you carry, but I carry a lot in my pack and wouldn't want it in a vest.

Hmmm...... you pose some good points David..... Mayhaps I should rethink. I mean when I go I think I will have about 3 lenses total....Im maybe should do my backpack and maybe just a belt with a lens pouch to hold my long glass. Back to research I guess. eek7.gif
