The Last Monarch ...

... or maybe it's the first ... sorta hard to tell but I found this guy in the backyard with folded/wet wings sunning itself. I do have Milkweed so hopefully it was caught in the rain while laying some eggs.

    I have been checking milkweed everytime I see it. This summer was the first time in several years I found a larva.
