I found some snow! They must of shot it out of a snow gun, because its the only snow around. Local gas stations really bummed about still no snowmobile season, losing out on alot of buisness.

    Hi, Douglas

    Ditto the above!clap.gif

Did you "do" anything to get those cool multipoint stars around the lights? Mine are usually 6-pointed, and I like yours better!

    Thanks!

Thank you drdane, I didnt do anything special no filters, but i did notice on the lower f numbers with shorter shutter speeds didnt have near the star effects as this one that was taken @ F13 for 8 seconds. I also changed my meetering modes while taking various shots not sure what meetering mode this was or if it effected the stars.
The camera was Canon Xti with Canon EF 28-105mm Macro USM lens on board.

Nice one! I love the stars and also how the lights reflect off of the clouds overhead to make them glow. thumb.gif
