Health and Money

I have posted in this thread because I didn't know where to... :dunno

I would like to wish everyone from this community a 2007 with much Health and lots of Money.
Money doesn't give us Health but it helps a lot.

Health is essential. Without it we are done. We feel like doing nothing.

So, :clapHealth and Money - in this sequence - for everyone !!:clap

With the New Year approaching, I'd like to mention what I am increasingly becoming more worried about....the health of our planet! Be aware of it and see if there is something you can do to help keep Mother Nature on her feet.

That's a very complicated problem...

Let's not be that ambitious and let us confine those wishes for ourselves as we are simple mortals with little power.

I thought I was keeping it simple. No, we cannot individually do much to overcome the defecation of industrialization.....but every little bit helps.

I'll take the health and wealth for myself:D:D:D...I was thinking of my grandchildren and wishing the same for them.

I always wonder as I'm shooting if my grandkids will ever get a chance to appreciate the same wonders I see daily. With each passing month I see more condos going up and then see more McDonalds, BKs. etc,etc going up to accomodate the new growth.

Isn't it great, to come to a point in your life where you "really do" care more about someone other than yourself?

Interesting thread to do:
The increasing urbanization of the Planet - pictures now and in the old times.
Photograph the ugly.
I've seen in Hallong Bay, Vietnam a huge terrain movements to implement housing. A shame. The sea was very polluted.
I think men will never learn. Or worst: Man will learn when it will be too late.
I'm very pessimist about this matter.

Andy: How about this topic ? Photography of the ugly environment (not people because that would hurt feeling of very important people of our planet).
How to capture the ugly, the evil, the bad ? (sorry bed or bad ? or even bead ?! I'm confused )

We are all aware of the difficulties of languages and concepts between us: you from the States, Awais from Pakistan, me from Portugal, etc..

The other day Nikolai wanted an assignment on Holiday. What did I think, in spite of being Christmas ?
In Europe holidays are the days we do nothing, Saturday, Sunday, holly days, 24th July if we had it.
Then I shot people resting and reading the paper.
But no. Nikolai meant the Christmas and End of the Year season...

When I say that Happiness comes with Health and Money I mean that to have these two, we must have Health.
For me Health is most important and it comes 1.st.

Last year we went to Brazil to the beach, for a week .
Just to have the pleasure of diving in warm waters, take little sun, relax and do nothing.
I did something stupid then: I ate too many cakes ! Some had a certain oil they use in Brazil which caused me problems of stomach and fever. I was kept in the room for 3 day !
I did not feel like taking the sun or warm water.

See what I mean now ?

So, Health to you all.

Language barriers can be tough!!! Antonio, for you I wish health and money, since that will also equal happiness for you. For those who do not equate happiness as having health and money, (or who are unhealthy and poor and still manage to be happy), I wish you more of whatever it is that makes you happy! (This shouldn't be so complicated!)
