Canon 100mm macro = WOW!
I just got my Canon 100 macro today. All I have to say is wow! It's so sharp, and the build quality is the same as my L glass. Focusing at 1:1 is very hard handheld, but I have a Gitzo Explorer 2220 for that.:D
I'm so glad I got this lens. Here's my first photo with it.
Focus is a bit slow at close distances, but I prefer manual focusing that close up. At farther distances it focuses fairly quickly.

looks like the 180mm/3.5 from Sigma is a nice piece of glass
too. The 100mm/2.8 from Canon also seems top notch, But then
where I live the tripod collar and the lens hood are 150 and 50
bucks (!!!) each. Which makes my head spin if I shouldn't get
the Sigma with hood and collar for 100 bucks more insted.
Enjoy your new lens! (and post some more pics)
