Acer Aspire 3680

I searched it and can't find any epinions, or any info here either! What do you folks think???

it's selling for $749 i need something for on the road, I have an external hard drive so I am not worried about Space and that kind of stuff, just wondered what your feed back and experiences may be with the Acer brand, or with this laptop in question!

I am not familiar with the aspire 3680, nor have I owned any acers...but I have used their tablet laptop...and I really liked being able to swivel the screen and lay it flat for working on photos in a class....the pen was a tad small but I like the over all workings of what I used and that was 2 yrs ago and I do not remember the model...The university used tons of them in the graphics classes not equiped with macs...........

I have the Acer Aspire 3680 which I ordered from Microcenter before christmas. So far I like it, but it's my first laptop so I'm not the one to ask how it compares to others.

I hope that helps. I'd shop around for a better price though unless your model has better specs than the one I got. Apparently some retailers sell it with a DVD+-R drive, more memory, ect.

So Far i am not impressed with their customer service...as in none

One reason i got it was to support my wacom graphire tablet with the bluetooth..there's a button specifically for bluetooth...but still won't recognize my tablet...and no one will help me Grrrrrrrr

Getting extremly frustrated..and I really hate when customer service support doesn't off a toll free number

Hopefully i'll find some info in that forum link you provided...i see one of the main topics in the forum just with a quick look is...ANOTHER BLUE TOOTH ISSUE

I'm pretty sure my 3680 doesn't have bluetooth. Sure it has the switch for it on the front, but not the internal components to make it work. Pehaps your specs are different than mine, as I believe it is an "option" for the 3680.

:cry I don't know if i should be pissed off or if i should cry

Was I ever mislead when I bought this Why the $%^$% does it have bluetooth all over it if it won't accept it...

I had to purchase a wireless bluetooth adaptor for my home pc...and it has the cute little usb plug in and came with software...the softward is on my laptop but i don't see the hardware Does anyone know if this is something that i can download??? I am such a computer dummy adn really feel like i got taken advantage of here

Sorry to bump this up, but I found a useful blog detailing how it may be possible to add an internal bluetooth dongle to your acer 3680. I'm guessing you probably have an external solution by now, but maybe it will help others.
