thanks.. I wish it were a little crisper.. in the right places
this sweet lady is a resident in my home for elders.. she does puzzles all the time and is always dressed to the hilt.. she comes to my exercise class twice a week.. her name is Laura and she's in her ninties..
Whoa Lynn!
I think it's a beautiful shot! Wish I had taken it myself! :-)
You really demonstrate to have an excellent eye for good scenes, which is, I think, the hardest thing to develop as a photographer! Way to go!
By the way, I can only relate to that "sharpness in the right places" thing, it's really hard to get, especially if you're using a huge aperture (or slow shutter speed or both). Was that the case?
thanks Thiago and Andy.. I'm trying and feeling to go with the "moment" of the shot.. not with what I think I "should" do..I think I'm learning that the technical tweaking comes after the good shot.. not before..?? I dunno.. maybe I'm in a slushy moment.. but I tell you what.. I LOVE THIS LEARNING CURVE.. it's such fun to learn from you all.:encore
Wonderful moment
Lynn,
The lady might like a copy of that shot. She looks so pleasant. Nice capture.
It's funny how the hand on the back of the chair is in perfect focus. Maybe you moved the camera? I have that problem sometimes when my camera seems to take forever for the shutter to click. It's very slow focusing and doing it's thing.
You did "see" that one well though. Good job.
