new 24-70 f/2.8 lens!

After waiting for months I finally have it!:barb

Here are some of the first shots I took with it. (bought and shot with it today!)

Damn do I love the sharpness. Do many other Dgrinners have this lens and wish to share their thoughts and samples?

    Congratulations! I've been lusting iloveyou.gif after one of those, myself!

    Nice shots - how much sharpening did you apply (in camera jpg settings, or post processing)? This would make the pics more useful to us gawkers.

    Great shots.

    That is a fantastic lens & worth every penny IMHO. It lives on my 20D most of the time.

    Great lens for sure. Weather-sealed. Built like a tank. Great image quality. Ferocious focus speed. I loved using that lens to shoot motocross jump shots. Coupled to a 1-series I was always surprised how fast and accurate the focus tracking was and how good the pictures looked.
