Portrait of a good friend taken with the 20D, 50mm f/1.8, and onboard flash:

converted to b&w using virtual 'photographer' (just to be honest ;).........)

    excellent stuff! I like how you made the direct flash work on this photo. I think direct light from the onboard flash hardly looks good, but you managed to do it here! Perhaps the B&W conversion only enhances that... Anyways, congrats!
