UT vs Memphis Basketball

A few weeks ago I got to shoot the UT vs. Memphis basketball game. I haven't had time to post them yet so I'll do it now :wink. This was my first game with the D2X and I'm loving it! :barb Let me know what you think, how can I improve?

    not being a sports photographer, I dunno-

    but I think these look pretty good-

    nice action in focus with good composition and the bg in blur or bokeh-

    good color and exposure-



    just a little too much orange-

    no, seriously, nice job for the 1st time out w/ a new camera. Good action, generally good facial expressions, but, they all (most) seem a bit on the soft side to me ne_nau.gif

    enjoy your new "toy" and I'll be looking for some more.

    Haha, everyone says that, but I thought it was common knowledge that the real UT is the University of Tennessee mwink.gif

    Thanks for the comments everyone, I should be able to get to do some more games this year. I wish the 50 1.8 was a little faster at focusing but I guess I just have to deal with it. I would get the 85 1.8 (I hear it's pretty quick) but after the D2x funds are a little low :cry
