What's your opinion/experience with the new VR Zoom-Nikkor 70-300mm f/4.5-5.6G IF-ED... performance, samples (especially wildlife photography)?

I don't have any expirence with that lens, but I have the non-VR 70-300mm 4-5.6 D-ED AF lens.
But, here's what Ken Rockwell has to say about it

I do have the Nikon 70-200mm F2.8 VR and I have to say VR is nice :)
Here's an example from that one:

    1/13 F 2.8 @ 160mm handheld. I iloveyou.gif this lens. And I've been spoiled by VR.

Thom Hogan has published his review on the 70-300VR. This is a completely different lens than either the 70-300G or 70-300ED lens.

Another review can be found written by Ted Kramer, and I found it very interesting.

I have read a lot of threads on other forums concerning the 70-300VR, but I haven't read one where the poster used it for wildlife, which is rather disappointing.

I don't do that much wildlife, but did take this with the 70-300VR at 300mm, F5.6. Cropped a bit. I really like this lens a lot:D
