One of my resolutions for 07 is to put a little more effort into some of my photo walks and also to post more of my results. I find that lately I've gotten carried away with moderating, and everyone probably knows I post alot, but rarely post any photos. Here goes...

Took a little hike yesterday...

There's quite a few nice paths in this area that go along the Connecticut River, many on top of the hilly ridge that follows the river most of the way through the Pioneer Valley. Looking out over the other side of the ridge at our town, Greenfield, MA.

And the highest point on the ridge, with an old tower (don't know the original use for it), Poet's Seat:

Got a few people shots I'll post from this hike too. You can probably tell I had some sweet sunset light to work with towards the end of our trip.

Enoying photography in 2007. :D

Great series, Doc. I lived out in West Springfield for a while and your pictures almost make me a bit homesick. That's a beautiful area -- gateway to the Berkshires. Prime motorcycle riding out there. :ian
