    I like the conversion, highlighting the woman while keeping the background b&w. What does it look like if you just keep the trash can color? Or maybe switch? The idea would be, in my mind, that she's faded from the world of color.

    The first thing that came to me from the title was the Metallica song by the same name. Probably not your original intention :D

    I tried what you suggested, but I think there's not enough color in the original shot to make the old lady stand out:

    I wouldn't like to keep only the trash can in color because I think this will miss the message a little.

    Maybe I should name this one, The Call Of Ktulu :D
