Shots from 2007 (birds)
The wife and I went for a little trip down by the power plant.
A number of eagles make it their home in the winter. I normally see
6 to 12 eagles on my drive-byes. Today we found 7. The sun was out for
what seemed like the first time in a month.
A few from the 1/1/07
Taken with a Canon XTi with a Canon 400L f5.6 lens.
Every now and then the gulls do something to make you want to watch them.
The hawk just sat off in the distance taking it all in.
Hope everyone has a good new year, and as always, thanks for looking.

How many photographers does it take to change a light bulb? 50. One to change the bulb, and forty-nine to say, "I could have done that better!"
Even though I pushed you away you still managed to get some sweet shots That hawk.....you sure it's not a penguin?

Troy, I wouldn't really say she like's the bird watching thing. I told her that
we should go for a ride and sight-see with the new snow on the ground.
We just kind of ended up down by the river. She was OK with it, but I don't
think she'll be getting up at 5:00 AM to go bird watching.
