    Quick question what key is this "hit the "" key" you say that in the paragraph about viewing the layer.
    Trapped in my bedroom taking pictures...did i say bedroom? i meant studio!

    Sorry, it's the backslash key. Apparently it won't show up! :D I wrote it out.

    This is a seriously cool tute! thumb.gifThanks!

    I've been using layer masks for some time now and have always wondered why Adobe didn't make it possible to view the mask in something other than that little rendition in the layers palette. Now I know the answer, I didnt' RTFM enough!


    RE: the back-slash character, sometimes you can get it to show if you "escape" it with an additional backslash character, as in "\\". This works in many programming languages, might work for the descriptions in one's galleries as well.
