Delete Photos---Gone? Watermark individual photos no more?

I feel like I've gone crazy, I'm not finding the tool to delete a photo from my gallery. I believe it used to be under the <photo tools> and it seems to be gone.

I also can not add a watermark to photos individually as I used to do. Now I have to have my gallery all set up and waiting with watermark turned on for the photo(s) to get watermarked. (no phototools- watermarking- is not working)

Has something happened to Smugmug, or is it me?

    Hello <img src="https://us.v-cdn.net/6029383/emoji/wave.gif" border="0" alt="" >

Are you logged in under your guest account by any chance? Log out, and log back in with your account-password, see if that helps.

Also, give us your site name so we can check things out.

It really helps if you put it in your Dgrin profile (You! upper left on Dgrin screen).

Which Mac, your intel mac or non-intel? Which browser?

And to be sure: http://laurabrownphotography.smugmug.com/ at the top of that page, it says "your photos" right?

It seems to be the case on both of my Macs, but I use my G5 almost exclusivly. I use Safari, and have for couple of years.

That would be me, other guy :ivar

You are logging in with your guest password. If you don't remember your account password, request a new password here: https://www.smugmug.com/help/resetpass.mg

or, email us at the helpdesk and we'll change it for you :D

your guest password must be different than your account password.... otherwise when you login, you are "guest". I'm not sure how you can change your guest password though (if you can't log on as the account owner) ...hmmm.

My password and login information are stored on my computer, so I never even type them in, how could they have gotten changed?

The browser is storing the last value you entered into the password prompt.... if it was the guest password, then that is what it is entering for you... try manually typing in the account password when logging in.

Does it say guest photos at the top of your screen rather than your photos?

OK, I think I've got it. On the 15th I received an email from Smugmug about a new password being generated for me at my request, and it asked me to log in and change my password. I believed this to be some sort of phishing (is that what it's called), so I ignored it. And all seemed to be fine (I guess I was not trying to delete photos from the 15th until yesterday) Well, this morning I had this vague memory of receiving this email, so I gave it a try, and I am into Smugmug as myself-no longer a guest of myself.

I don't know why I received this email in the first place, it says that I initiated it. Does that mean someone was trying to get into my account????

Anyway, I'm confidant all will be right with my account know, thank you guys, and "the other guy" as well!clap.gif
