Pinks is a little Hollywierd Hot Dog joint that's been around since 1939,
and has quite the infamous rep having served both the beauties and the beasts of Tinsel town.
Heck not to long ago I even had lunch with Steven Spielberg at Pinks, ok ok so he didn't know he was having lunch with me !! :lol

Well come on let's have lunch

Man this line is long hope it's worth it. Well at least I can look for used furniture while waiting :D
Hmm what are the people looking at ? :dunno

How about an action shot of you devouring that dog in three bites?

Seriously, a fun series. Thanks for the visit to an old haunt.

    Hey Ben:

    Happy New Year!

Nice set of shots. Next time you're in my 'hood give a shout and I'll join you for a pair of Brooklyn Dogs. :D

(although I really prefer "Tail 'o the Pup" on San Vicente)

Sorry to hijack this thread but someone asked for an opening shot.
    80084465-L.jpg

Pink's is a landmark restaurant on Melrose Blvd in Hollywood/LA just west of Paramount Studios. Initially actors looking for work placed their headshots inside the place so media exec. types could see them. Now it's been changed to holding signed celebrity headshots. I guess many celeb and entertainment industry types eat there and visit, but it mainly serves as a fun tourist hot dog stand. They feature many hot dogs and burgers named after celebrities. Definate place to visit if you are in LA.

    Busy workers making the dogs.

Inside with the walls covered in autographed headshots from celebrities, international, US, and local.

It's been 18 years since I've eaten there, and I had the chili burrito dog. I'm hardly the one to judge. :D
