Backyard woodpecker

Using my point and shoot, I got this woodpecker (at least I think that's what it is!) in my backyard today.

    I did a little research and learned that it IS a type of woodpecker, called the Red-breasted Sapsucker. It's a west coast bird, and this one is in Oregon. :D

    Nice shot Elaine! clap.gif The woodpeckers around here seem to prefer the shady sides of the tree whenever I try to photograph them!
