I did not know where to post this ... :dunno
I decided to do it here. If it is incorrect move it please.
----
When I arrived home today it was already dark and I went to meet my wife who was at the computer as usual :D, in the Net.
When we were going to have dinner she asked me if I had already seen that parcel at the entrance.
I had not. She told me: It's from that American friend of yours, you talked me about !
Indeed it was from him.

That old chap ! I will not reveal his identity here but I would like to express here and now, my best feelings for him and thank him for such a kind gift.:clap:D
Now, I can drink a glass of Californian wine.

Drink to the Health of that family's photographer and to himself.

Of course that I will take a picture of the occasion.
And that occasion will be one of these Saturdays or Sundays.

I have now that friend's address.
I asked but he did not send me his own, as he should.
It's now time to return the kind and nice act.

Thank you so much photographer. :thumb
PS- It was sent on the 18/12/2006 and arrived sound and safe - the parcel is very good and well done - on the 04/01/2007

quite a bit of history behind their operation. They recenty expanded by purchasing quite a large stake of land adjacent to their existing winery. I think it may be one of the, if not THE largest single winery operations in the Napa Valley.

I live right over the hill from there. Makes it easy to entertain visitors!

Not only a great winery, but they have (or had when I was there in 2000) a collection of props from Copolla's movies (a Car, the godfathers desk, others..). You get to taste great wines and see the props etc, well worth a trip if you can get there.

I can and I will now. I'm a big Godfather fan. Have you seen the Lake Tahoe Corleone compound from the film? It's now multiple condos, but if you take a boat tour they'll float you past for a good look: northlake on the west side.
