Need some info from the DGrin croud...

I have read the books by Brian Peterson, and I can recommend his "Understanding Exposure" and "Beyond Portraiture". He is also involved in the "Perfect Picture School of Photography" (see http://www.ppsop.com/).
Who has taken any or more of the proposed photography lessons??

Have asked the same question at the NikonCafe, but without usable input.

    hey zeus-

peterson had recently taught courses at betterphoto.com-

I've taken a couple courses with them-

seemed like his courses filled up pretty fast-

my guess is that the courses would be decent-

a lot of it depends on your participation-

you might ask them if they could get you in contact with some who have taken their courses-

    your link didn't work, btw-

I took one of Bryan Peterson's courses at BetterPhoto a couple of years ago and thought it was a good investment. Having since purchased Understanding Exposure, I've realized that the info in the course was very similar to that in the book. The best part of the course was getting weekly feedback from Mr. Peterson on my images; his feedback was focused mostly on creativity rather than on technical aspects, and I really enjoyed it. That said, it seems like when I looked at the course on the new site, part of the course (maybe even the critiques?) was being handled by someone else. Also seemed like the cost was quite a bit more than I paid at BetterPhoto, but their prices may have also gone up in the last couple of years.

    I hope this helps.
