I took these pics shortly after I got my macro lens (about 18 months back) and recently rediscovered them. I thought they'd fit in with the theme of my pebbles thread

    I like Amethyst, I've seen some awesome rocks embedded with it.
    Dust looks good too rolleyes1.gif man that stuff is annoying when your trying so hard to do MACRO and that dust just seems to show up everywhere doesn't it...... I hear ya :D

    Thanks Brian! Sodalite is a pretty rare stone. I believe its only found somewhere in Italy, Russia and n Nambia (where these frogs came from).
