400mm with 2x's teleconverter
I shot this from the 3 floor of a house I was staying in last week. I had the 350D on the tripod with the Sigma 70-200mm lens and the 2X's teleconverter attached. The grey background is the blurred road. I had to adjust the contrast and levels and did a high pass filter on it for a little sharpening. I find the 2X's converter lacks the contrast and clarity I was h oping for but with a little PS work I find this acceptable but not Fantastic. What are your thoughts?

How many photographers does it take to change a light bulb? 50. One to change the bulb, and forty-nine to say, "I could have done that better!"

I agree with the crop! Your photo makes me rethink shooting with the 2x with my 70-200mm.

Thank you everyone for your Kind comments, they are really appreciated. I have found with the 2X's converter that a tripod is a MUST ( converter half the cost of a Canon) and that an F stop smaller than the f5.6 needs to be used. It does slow the lens down but that is what ISO is for I guess. It is a fair compromise to buying a prime lens which to most of us hobby / enthusiest photographers are well out of our reach price wise.
Thanks again everyone you are too kind
